  1. Thank you for the explanation of the water bottles! I actually know these so I was wondering if it was that, but I've only seen them in waiting rooms at the doctor's office or places like that and didn't know people had them at home. That's interesting.

Last episode was actually written and directed by Amy Sherman-Palladino herself.

It seems very implausible that Rory wouldn't know that good grades are not enough to get into Harvard. Even I know that just from watching tv.
I was very, Ugh, Dean, on their fight but Rory's behaviour wasn't good either. I didn't really care for this storyline. Lorelai's Dean impression is spot on, though.

The two big Emily and Lorelai scenes are fantastic and again perfectly acted. Lorelai storming in and for once laying it all out there, how hurt she is by her mother, only to realize that this is actually partly her fault and she really hurt Emily, too, is great. Max standing in the corner during the fight looks a little awkward but what is he supposed to do?

Rory's reaction to Lane leaving was weird last episode but now she isn't even really saying goodbye. How are we supposed to take this serious if they don't even treat it as if it's a big deal?

Another favourite shot (I might say this again next week): Luke sitting next to the little, adorable ballerinas on the bench, so cute.

Do I even want to know what Paris at the suicide hotline would be like?

  2. Hey there,

Love that Madeline can never remember that they are not talking to Rory.
Its odd that Rory who has been waiting /wanting to go to Harvard did not know she would need Extras for the collage application. Paris (as ever) is OTT over it and that much would proberly make Harvard wonder about her rather than accept her.
The building site scene ALWAYS bugs me , I mean how many building sites with school kids working there would not have a supervisor/training for them beyond that "talk" Rory gets.
LOL .... THE HAMMER ... what else can you say . Although why Rory just does not grab a non-pink version which would seem obvious but I guess Lorelai and Rory do not struck me as big DIYers.
Dean should be MAD that she is suddenly busy and does want to be with him.

The Lane Kim rescue pack is great ! Wish we could see more. Plus the consistancy at the end when the car pulls off with that GREAT BIG case on the roof !

"Mom I am getting married " ... I mean this is Emily , what did Lorelai expect ? OK so Emily is OTT even for Emily but this is not the family to casually drop this detail at the table !
Max's parents cheque was fun and can you imagine the dress his mum offered if three Lorelai can fit in it ?? Max is so quick when they pull up in front of the Gilmore house to know what Lorelai will do next but he should have just left when the screaming had finished and not try to add more to Emily ! For once Lorelai was speechless when Emily finally tells her how hurt she was about not hearing the news directly. They are both so bad at communicating and then at the end, the visit with the veils to say sorry is such a strong moment for me ... The look in the Emily's eyes when the actress says "Its what I wore" I want to cry. This makes it my favourite part of the episode.

The Stars Hollow engagement party is magical ! WOW . I really want to go live there ! It would not be an event with out a dance number from Miss Patty little girls.
Why was Luke running almost FULL bottle of tomato sauce into empty ones? Was he really hiding in his shop ??
Love the picture when Luke sits on the bench next to three little girls who all turn to look at him ... So sweet.
