  1. I hate how they make fun of Michel for the dog funeral. It's exactly the same as Cinnamon's wake and for that, everyone was on board. Yes, Lorelai has a lot on her mind at the moment, but that's not the problem for her or the others. The whole thing seems ridiculous to everyone and I don't like it.

I love how Rory is completely on Lorelai's side while Lorelai is still trying to defend Chris, probably for Rory's sake, too. Sookie too has been there for Lorelai throughout the season and was trying very hard not to critize her but support her instead. I love how she finally, softly speaks up by asking if Chris would be the one if Luke wasn't a factor. It's a great scene. But I do believe Lorelai throughout the episode, I think she believes what she is saying and that they can make this work, she has convinced herself of that.

I hate how this storyline turned out overall, but I am glad that it happened, marriage and all. I'm glad Lorelai and Chris gave it a shot when nothing stood in the way, apparently. Otherwise I think the characters, and a part of the audience as well, would have always wondererd what if. I love that line, you're the man I want to want. Chris has always wanted Lorelai, he wanted to marry her for 20 years and it would be so easy if she wanted that too. It would be a great story, if, after all this time, they could finally make it work. But they can't and it just doesn't fit anymore.

The Lorelai side of this storyline in this episode works great for me. It's the Chris side that doesn't, once more. After days of no contact, Chris just shows up at her place of work beccause he has decided he suddenly wants to talk? And I hate how he never apologizes, which becomes really apparent when Lorelai is sobbing and saying sorry over and over again. He admits that he did things wrong and pushed her, but he never apologizes for it.

At least now we can move on from this.
