Before this rewatch I had forgotten how gross I found Chris at the beginning of this season. I remembered this relationship mostly from this point forward and I have to say, I do enjoy it. I like how everyone is warning Lorelai to be careful, especially because this is Chris and not just any guy. But I also think it makes a lot of sense. This relationship is comfortable because of their history and they know each other so well. Chris has made it very clear that he has always loved Lorelai and now, this is their moment. It's the complete opposite of what Lorelai had with Luke for the last few months and she finally has fun again. She doesn't have to pretend to be someone else or that she feels a different way than she actually does anymore.
ReplyDeleteIs it me or is it Gilmore Girls that is confused about timezones again? Logan calls Rory from the office. He's ahead of her. So either it is morning for him and the middle of the night for her, or it's the evening for her but the middle of the night for him. Neither of those situations makes sense when you add the fact that this was the "Logan call" she was expecting. I mean, at least I hope he's not usually calling her at 2 am her time.
Is covering your school books with paper bags a thing in the US?
