  1. After all the Chris drama, this felt really nice and low key. I loved everything about the baby shower and how Lorelai saved the day, both by making peace between Lane and Mrs Kim as well as relocating the whole thing to Miss Patty's. Lane asking Rory to be her children's Lorelai Gilmore was a really touching moment, although realistically, Rory probably won't be in Stars Hollow all that often, so Lorelai would be their Lorelai Gilmore as well.

I wished we heard more about Rory's meeting with the New York Times guy. We got literally nothing beyond that it went really well. What are we supposed to do with this? I do like that they are introducing this internship now as a possibility for Rory after graduation and something she really wants, unlike what's on Paris' Project Finishline list.

We knew Logan couldn't stay Mr Perfect for forever and boy, did he return to his old ways. As soon as something goes wrong, he goes completely off the rails and behaves like a giant idiot again. Just when I thought how great it is that he at least immediately tells Rory about the disaster he made, he goes on to say that he's known for weeks.

I also really liked the Luke story, at first denying that he is stuck in his ways - and his dad was not either, because Luke is always going to defend him. And then when April confirms that that's what she thinks of him too, he realizes that maybe they are right and he doesn't want to be seen like that. I like that we see Luke change and it makes me feel better about when he and Lorelai will eventually get back together. Especially after the events of season 6, it would be disappointing if that happened without changing or working on themselves in any way.
